What we’re loving in the new Smyths Christmas catalogue!

September 21, 2018

The kids are back at school, the leaves are turning crisp and brown and people like me are already thinking ahead to Christmas. I LOVE Christmas and I’m the same every year. I’m always one of the first people to get the decorations up and plan the dinner and I’ve already got my first Christmas catalogue from Smyths Toys.
*This is a collaborative post with Smyths Toys*

This year is set to be our best Christmas yet. The kids are all old enough to get excited, Bridget will be much more aware of things and I will be working from home as of next month so I know I’ll have so much time with all three of them to spend cosy, dark evenings cuddling with movies and hot chocolates.

My three, looking at the new Christmas 2018 Smyths Catalogue

When I was a kid, We used to all love sitting around catalogues with different coloured pens, circling all the magical toys and writing our lists for Father Christmas and I feel like my three have finally reached that age where they can do the same. Well, Dexter will understand it at least and I can’t wait to start this tradition. So, without further ado, let me show you some of the things we’ve ben circling!

Smyths Catalogue for Toddlers – Bridget

Bridget would love this Bright Starts Spin and Giggle Giraffe. She loves chasing balls around the living room and this would just add another fun element to her play.

She really enjoys pushing Paisleys buggy around so it would be lovely to get her one of her own now that she’s toddling around and this Melissa and Doug latches board would be perfect for developing her hand-eye coordination and her little muscles.

Smyths Christmas catalogue for Preschoolers – Paisley

Paisley is a funny little thing and would love this Teepee. She loves to hide and we really like the look of the B. range. The colours on them are beautiful and they’re great if, like me, you don’t buy into all this pink for girls and blue for boys malarkey.
She loves unicorns (who doesn’t at the moment?) and would love to dress her dolls in this little outfit and put them to bed while she paints this unicorn ornament.

And she is always taking pictures on my phone so a camera of our own would be like the best thing in the whole world!

Christmas Catalogue for 5 year olds – Dexter

Dexter is into everything at the moment. He loves his gadgets and superheroes and his imagination blows me away. This watch would be awesome for him, not only would it be educational with the different games and apps you can play on it, but I can totally see him pretending to use it as a walkie-talkie and summoning his superpowers with it.

Being the age where he is now at school and mixing with other children, it’s no wonder he now finds poo and bum and fart and snot and all the gross things wickedly funny so this game would have him in stitches.

If you didn’t do this, why didn’t you? Haha. It was the best thing to do! Love that your kids are doing it, too.

Warning about the doggy do do game, it’s temperamental and doesnt always work. X

Haha Chelle said that Abbie goes one better and cuts things out to stick on a collage! How cool is that?
