Ready2Robot – The new collectables

November 19, 2018

Recently we were asked if we would like to review the new Ready2Robot collectable toys from MGA entertainment – the people that brought you the L.O.L Surprise dolls that people seem to be really loving at the moment.

Ready2Robot toys allow you to build and mix and match different parts to create your own robot that you can then battle with your friends. Each robot has a number of ‘sockets’ where you can customise them by adding different weapons and attachments to make the ultimate fighting robot.

Plus they come with slime so, you know!

Some of the different Ready2Robot packs available

There are a few different ways to buy the Ready2Robot collectables from the single bot to the big slime battle with mid range products being the battle packs that contain the surprise bots with a couple of other bits to customise your bots.

Inside the series one single bot packs there are 5 different compartments. Within these you find small packets to open that contain all of the parts to build your initial bots.

Which mechbot will you find inside your Bot Brawler pack? It’s a mystery! Unbox and build the mechbot from seven parts.

As you collect more or buy different battle packs you are able to create and change your robots to build the ultimate fighter bot.
Some have shooters that fire different arrows at the press of a button for example.

Toys that have lots of little bits to them are normally the bane of my life, especially having Bridget around putting everything in her mouth, but watching Dexter take them apart and rebuild them in different ways was quite cute. He really enjoyed playing with them and has already said he wants to put more of them on his Christmas list. At on point he also let Paisley have a look in and she really loved the slime! (of course, she did!!)

Having everything hidden until it’s opened is a great way to boodt excitemtn of the toys and Dexter love discovering each bit. The only other blind bag style toys we’ve ever had are the little Cars collectables from the movies (and I’ve sort of stolen all of those for myself)

Ready2Robot are not overly expensive so are the perfect motivation for rewards and good behaviour or gifts for birthday parties and things. I’m tempted to get a few in for those last minute party invitations.
