My Nametags – Review

February 1, 2016

Now that Dexter is at preschool, making sure his name is in everything he takes with him is a bit of a task, so I jumped at the opportunity to review these awesome name tags from ‘My nametags’

You can choose your own design with the easy to use website which takes you through the various options. With Dexter’s, I chose a blue plaid background with a dinosaur icon (we call him Dextersauras so it had to be really). I’ve designed some here for Paisley to give you an idea but as you can see, you can select from different fonts, colours, icons and backgrounds and there is also a selection of pre-designed ones that you can choose from too.

As well as being able to design them yourself, you can chose what type of name tag you require based on where you are going to stick it. I chose the coloured stickers as they can be used on clothes, shoes, equipment and more. Other options include iron-ons which are specifically for clothes or black & white ones that can be used on lunch boxes and pencils etc.

So far, We have stuck them inside Dexter’s coats, shoes, hat, gloves, and preschool bag along with a couple of items of clothing. They have washed really well and show no signs of wear or coming off.
With the 3rd line of text available, I added my mobile number so that if anything of Dexter’s does go missing, I can be contacted – Or at least thats the idea.. We’ll see haha!
I’ve been very impressed with how well the ones in his shoes have kept. I was expecting them to wear slightly by now but they still look as good as when I put them in.
Although they are quite hard wearing, you can still take them off if you were to pass down clothing to younger siblings which is another bonus to us with Dexter being the oldest.

A set of 56 coloured stickers will cost you £11.95 and £1.00 P&P.  They are durable and waterproof, perfect for labelling clothes and school uniform, suitable for the dishwasher, microwave and steriliser up to 90˚c.  Postage is very quick and the labels come exactly as you design them. I shall definitely be ordering some more for Paisley some time soon and would recommend to any of my mummy friends too.

We were sent these label in exchange for this review, all opinions are completely my own.

These look great! It’s surprisingly hard to get food labels I think. We are also a fan of dinosaurs in our house too. Great idea about mobile number I’ve never thought of that. I’ll have to give these a go.

Haha the only thing with that is, if I change my number, I’ll have to order a whole new load!
