Welcome to another week of the Friday Phone dump.
With baby girl due any time now and the likelihood that I will be induced, I can’t guarantee that I will be around to host it next week. If anyone would like to have a go at hosting for a week or so, please let me know so we can get it sorted.
I’ve spent most of the last week in hospital at various appointments and check ups. Even today I have two more appointments with no guarantee I’ll be let out at the end! But here are a few things we’ve been up to so far this year!
Dexter sorted his trains into colours without being asked or encouraged. It’s nice to see the start of his maths and sorting skills coming in.
Me trying out the Dr.Organic honey manuka face mask. Review coming soon.
A big, big 37 week bump!
Spending lots of time waiting around the the hospital means taking something to occupy myself. Colouring is one of those things thats relaxing and and you can take anywhere.
I’ve been practicing making cord ties for when Paisley arrives. Rather than using the bulky NHS clips on her cord when she’s born, these cord ties are softer and gentler on baby, they look a lot nicer but also, they are less likely to be knocked or caught during nappy changes.
Dexter has been learning how to ‘wear’ his baby. Another thing we are doing different with Paisley. There are so many things I wish I’d done with Dexter. But I just didn’t know about.
Dexter has been so funny lately with the way he copies things. He was trying to wink in this picture and say ‘Alrite Darlin” Such a funny little dude!
Yesterday was a perfectly splashy day so we dressed appropriately for the journey to preschool, donned our wellies and had a good splash before my Mum met us down the road.
And finally… What could possibly be one of my last bump shots. I hope so at least. She’s really starting to take her toll on me now. I could barely walk yesterday due to how she was laying!
So…. What have you been up to? Have you had that back to routine dread? Link up below and I’ll comment on all posts as normal. Rules are below xx
